2.2 Photos and Images

Certain Apps, such as Mole Checker - SkinLog, allow you to capture or import photos of skin spots (such as moles, rashes, or marks) for tracking and analysis purposes. These photos are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers or any cloud storage. You may delete your photos at any time from within the App, which permanently removes them from your device.

4.1 Third-Party AI Analysis Services

Certain Apps, such as Mole Checker - SkinLog, use OpenAI's API to provide visual analysis of skin spot photos. When you request an analysis, the photo is sent to OpenAI for processing. OpenAI processes this data in accordance with their API data usage policy (https://openai.com/policies/api-data-usage-policies). OpenAI does not use data submitted via their API to train their models. No other user data is sent to OpenAI alongside the image. We do not control OpenAI's data handling practices and encourage you to review their privacy policy.

5. Face Data and Biometric Information

Our Apps do not collect, store, process, or derive any face data, facial geometry, facial recognition data, or biometric identifiers. Mole Checker - SkinLog captures photos of individual skin spots (such as moles and rashes) only. While "Face" is available as a body region label to indicate where a skin spot is located, no facial scanning, facial mapping, face detection, or facial recognition technology is used at any point. No facial features are extracted, analysed, or stored.

6. Data Storage and Security

We use industry-standard security measures
Photos and analysis results in Mole Checker - SkinLog are stored locally on your device only and are not transmitted to our servers for storage
Other data is stored in secure environments
We retain data only as long as necessary
When you delete a tracked skin spot within the App, all associated images and data are permanently removed from your device

7. Data Retention

Photos and skin spot data in Mole Checker - SkinLog are retained on your device until you choose to delete them
Photos sent to OpenAI for analysis are processed in real time and are not retained by us after analysis is complete
Automatically collected information (usage data, diagnostics) is retained only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy
You may delete all your data at any time by deleting the App from your device

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your personal information
Request correction of your data
Request deletion of your data
Opt-out of marketing communications
Delete all locally stored photos and data directly within the App at any time

9. Children's Privacy

Our Apps do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us.

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy in our Apps.
